DIGITAL SUPPLY CHAIN STUDENT AT SIT & SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST INTERN AT INFREIGHT. I BUILD PRACTICAL TOOLS THAT TURN MESSY LOGISTICS DATA INTO FASTER DECISIONS.
I'M BRIAN, A DIGITAL SUPPLY CHAIN STUDENT AT THE SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY WITH A DIPLOMA IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE & BUSINESS FROM NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC. I LEARN AN OPERATION BY WORKING INSIDE IT, THEN BUILD THE TOOL IT IS MISSING: A 7-CARRIER RATE PLATFORM AT INFREIGHT, A TELEGRAM BOT THAT REPLACED WHATSAPP AT ULD, AND ROUTING MODELS FOR THE SINGAPORE STRAIT. I CARE ABOUT TOOLS PEOPLE ACTUALLY ADOPT, NOT JUST TOOLS THAT RUN.
BACKGROUND & VISION
SCROLL TO EXPAND
From international trade and business, to digital supply chain, to building the tools logistics teams use every day.
Diploma in International Trade and Business, where I first learned how goods, documents and money move across borders. Outside class I promoted the School of Business & Accountancy as an Envoy and volunteered with Business & Accountancy Cares at community hospitals and childcare centres.
Degree in Digital Supply Chain: computer systems, programming fundamentals and supply chain management, applied in capstone work on maritime routing in the Singapore Strait and inventory policy simulation.
Designed, built and rolled out an automated submission system using a Telegram bot and Python to replace an inefficient WhatsApp-based process for tracking inbound and outbound goods, and led the team through the switch.
Supporting freight planning, shipment coordination and rate analysis across domestic and overseas operations, and building the internal 7-carrier Sourcing Rates platform the sourcing team uses to compare ocean freight quotes.
THE TOOLS BEHIND THE PROJECTS. OPEN ANY CARD TO SEE WHERE I'VE USED IT.
WHAT I BRING TO A SUPPLY CHAIN TEAM: OPERATIONS KNOWLEDGE FROM THE FLOOR, AND THE CODE TO AUTOMATE WHAT SLOWS IT DOWN.
Automating how freight rates are collected and compared: browser automation and carrier APIs feed parallel searches, and a normalisation layer turns every carrier's charges, free time and routing into one comparable quote.
Graph-search routing (Dijkstra, A*) over gridded sea areas, AIS data processing, fuel and port-cost models, and inventory policy simulation, validated against baseline data with proper statistical tests.
Replacing manual, chat-based and spreadsheet workflows with small systems people actually adopt: Telegram bots, WMS report pipelines and warehouse inventory apps, rolled out with user guides and hands-on change management.
